FAQ

Roofing questions we answer before the estimate

These are the questions homeowners actually ask on the phone. City pages add the local version. This page stays general on purpose.

Questions

How do I know if I need replacement or repair?

If the failure is a boot, a flashing, or a small limb strike and the field shingles still have granules and flexibility, repair is honest. If the shingles are brittle, the ridges are cracked, or there are two layers, replacement is the repair that lasts.

Do you install Owens Corning Sand Dune?

Yes. Sand Dune is an Owens Corning architectural color we install often. We confirm lot availability before we strip the roof.

What is Steel Guard?

Steel Guard is the metal shingle system we install when you want a shingle profile in metal. It is not the same bid as standing seam.

Do you do James Hardie?

Yes. Fiber cement and premium vinyl are both installed in-house with the roofing crew's flashing details, not handed to a stranger.

Will you work with my insurance company?

We document damage and meet adjusters. We do not promise approval, and we do not waive deductibles.

How far will you drive?

Southern Indiana and the Kentucky counties listed on the service-area page, from river towns like Rising Sun and Carrollton out to Columbus, Paoli, Elizabethtown, and Lebanon, Kentucky.

Are inspections free?

Yes, inside the service area. You get photos and a written condition.

What should I do during an active leak?

Call 812-896-7488. Catch water, keep people off the wet roof, and if you can do it safely, note which ceiling is staining.
